The tipping point that inspired this rant was Biden's Thursday announcement. I was trying to find out what he was saying, on CNN because I'm not trying to trigger my workplace IT and get fired. And what is front page by his announcement? An article about how gun control advocates feel he isn't doing enough.
I'm sure it's no news to this sub how prevalent this is. There are many mainstream "news" websites that accompany any coverage of gun laws with some commentary from the gun control community. But you will never see CNN mention arguments or outcry from the other side.
Like, liberals want to make the argument "news isn't bias" but the fact pro-gun talking points are paraded around while anti-oppression sentiment is ignored is ridiculous. I'm sick of them pretending there's only one side with some nuanced arguments
