I'm in the market for a printing device so I can make a replica dog to replace my last one who got shot for an undisclosed reason. I want to make sure the dog comes out pretty sturdy. He was a big dog so I'm looking for a bigger printer that can make 20" pieces of my dog or so.

Creality CR10 S5 is the cheapest one I know of that has a 20 inch (500mm) square print size.
Creality's Ender 3 is considered the best budget printer, so I assume the CR10 S5 is the best budget large format printer.
If you're talking about oil filters though, a 3D printed one won't hold up. They might last a little bit if your oil feed line diameter is 0.22 inches, but anything larger than that is just going to explode.
You don't print the whole filter. You print the easily replaceable baffles, and use a metal tube.
A lot of people think you need a rotary table on a mill to make dogs, but in a pinch, you can replace the rotary table with an angle block and a careful setup. It really depends on what size dog you want to make, but for most applications all you really need is a minimill like a Taig.

Whichever provider you go with, make sure they're AKC-certified. My brother got a German Shepherd that turned out to be half-coyote.
I actually had a coydog that was half GSD (other half coyote, obviously), and he was the best fucking dog ever. 60 lbs with a 1,000 lb presence. When I went to college back in the late 90’s I’d go get him after classes on Friday and bring him up for the weekend. He’d go out to parties with us and bite drunk people that couldn’t figure out that you shouldn’t be a flaming dick to a crazy dog.
Sounds like a blast - my brother's dog is just afraid of everything.
