Giving this a try to see if it helps people hang around and engage with the community a little bit more. Spicy memes and gun bunnies are great but we all know the one thing that keeps us together is our love of the firearms that guarantee our freedom.
If you have questions about guns, training, ammo, etc. etc. and don't feel like getting joke answers in a standalone post of a site dedicated to shitposting, ask it here.
For the people who would like to answer questions, please keep it somewhat serious. Lighthearted humor is fine but I'd like to keep the actual autism out of this particular post.
If this seems effective, I'll try to get one stickied every week
Plate Carrier setup? About to order some rma plates and looking for a carrier and set up? Just need a suggestion for what to look for. Might send noods when it comes in
I have a couple slicksters. One with IIIA stab rated plates and another with level III PE plates. Honestly the one I have set up and ready to go is the one with IIIA plates. I have medical shit on one side and a couple cliff bars. Other side is 3xUSGI mags and a radio. Nothing on the front. You can get micro chest rigs if you want more shit but it's slick. If I need to get down low to the ground I can. With it being winter I can wear it under a coat and no one would be the wiser.
Now I also have my HSGI war belt too to go with it that I primarily use for competition. That's another 3x AR mags + 3x pistol mags. Then I have a small utility pouch that I use for notepad, pens, etc for classes or extra loose ammo for competitions or it will fit an extra adventure time trauma kit if I think it will hit the fan. That's in addition to the HSGI blowout pouch + IFAK w/2 CAT TQ in TQ Tacos. Safariland holster and I have a Condor douche pouch and double pistol pouch. Keep a flashlight and small multitool or swiss army knife in the pistol pouch. As much as people call condor airshit it's held up well and the douche pouch was $15. I don't need to spend $60 on the HSGI label. And the double pistol pouch has held up well too. Condor of the past couple years isn't nearly as shitty as it was say 5 years ago.
