It’s a good point. We’ve always been a joke community and always aimed for satire of the mainline gun community. In a way, weekengunnit was co-dependent with /guns and /firearms ... when someone would show their power level in the comments of a serious gun post, someone would comment “keep it on weekendgunnit”. It was symbiotic because it gave all of us autists an outlet for our reeeee but when we wanted to share our encyclopedic knowledge on the fascinating history about the development of the recoil springs on a high point we could go to the srs bizns subs and geek out.

Now that we’ve left the abusive spouse of Reddit, it feels weird to be on our own. I don’t know if mixing retard fun with serious posts would work out ... I guess it works for /k
