Nice. My dad's got one that his mom bought for his dad way back in the day (with bayonet). Traced the serial number and found it was manufactured in April 1943. That rifle truly is "the greatest battle implement ever devised". I'm working on getting the whole family together; I recently bought a Springfield Armory M1A (new manufacture, I'm not made of that much money :/), and I'm looking at getting an M1903 sometime in the future.

Well, that makes me feel better. I'll have to do some more research if I ever decide to buy that gun. I was a little curious about a screw-on breech on a .50 cal but I'd seen that gun shot a lot and it looked OK to me.

Ok. I figured there'd be some more vids out about this incident in the future and I'll learn more. I'm seeing that the general consensus is like you said and that this was definitely not a gun failure.

That's kinda what I've been thinking. Do you think that if that round had been fired out of a standard Barrett (like an ~M82) it would have blown up that as well?

Yeah I was thinking about buying one of those. Now I'm not so sure. Would your average .50 like the Barrett also explode under a round like that?

I'm more worried about stopping .223 (obvious reasons). I think it has more penetrating power than .308. Haven't done any research on it yet b/c I've been taking a break from blowing money. I'll get to it this summer.

Yea I've heard about it. Basically I haven't bought any new games for almost half a year now, and since 11/10/20 I've blown...Quite a lot of money on guns/ammo/armor and I'm not done yet lol. New games are taking a back seat for awhile. Plus I'm a filthy console peasant so there's that.

Nah, I used to play Battlefield a lot but I've moved away from multiplayer games in the last year. I'm more of a Fallout kinda guy
