What myself and others have been warning about for years now has come to fruition. The right's level of political activism is a flip switch: it default to get out in vote. The other mode involves federal buildings going boom. The problem with that is if you tried to get people out to any kind of rally all you get from the right is excuses and the same ole tired ones: "I've got a job, I've got a family, I've got hobbies, I've got a house". The exception to this maybe is pro-life movement.
The left have a network to where anytime there's a school shooting not only does the anti-gun group shows up, but the related groups will show up in "unity". So the LGBTQIAA++WTFBBQ people will come out in support, BLM will come out in support, the communists will come out in support. So they are able to mobilize thousands in hours where we can spend months planning and people show up by the dozens.
The bigger problem is that to anyone on the fence in the center it gives the appearance that we don't exist. That our views are fringe and not popular at all. We relied on this idea of a "silent majority" when that had been dead for a decade or more.
