Giving this a try to see if it helps people hang around and engage with the community a little bit more. Spicy memes and gun bunnies are great but we all know the one thing that keeps us together is our love of the firearms that guarantee our freedom.
If you have questions about guns, training, ammo, etc. etc. and don't feel like getting joke answers in a standalone post of a site dedicated to shitposting, ask it here.
For the people who would like to answer questions, please keep it somewhat serious. Lighthearted humor is fine but I'd like to keep the actual autism out of this particular post.
If this seems effective, I'll try to get one stickied every week
My daily carry is a Sig P365. I use the 12 round magazine on it, as well as a Sig Romeo Zero optic and a nice holster. I haven't shot it an awful lot in total, probably around 300-500 rounds. It's been entirely malfunction-free, has never hiccuped with cheap ammo, and I like the overall package.
I love shooting in general, but for whatever reason, I don't like shooting the P365. I don't want to say that it's awful to shoot, but I'm close to saying that. It's felt recoil is high, the texture/ergonomics make it slip out of my grip and I must readjust on the fly, and overall I don't like shooting it. If I had to rate it in terms of fun factor, it'd be on the same level as an LCPII.
I'm probably going to switch to something else down the line but for now I've invested too much to quit now.
