I got me an 1861.
Cap and ball is fun as shit and I get to waste 6 hours at the range with 50 rounds fired and the fucking brass thief can get fucked cause I ain't got any.
I'm mad I sold my 22's years ago. I've been looking at getting a Ruger mk3 and I'm mad cause I got my Mk2 for like 120 bucks and I can't find shit under 300 on a Ruger. Prolly just gonna get a Rough Rider and call it a day, I liked the one I had and gave away.
I just got a lever action .22 Henry with 16" barrel and large loop for $300.
They're out there, just gonna look.
This is a Ruger Wrangler and can be had for $200.
Yeah, the single actions are available cheap enough, not much around me but I was wanting to get a Ruger Mk specifically and they all seem to be going for tard money. But I'm keeping my eyes open, not desperate so I got that goin for me.
My first gun was a Heritage Rough Rider
My LGS had a deal over a year ago for 2 rough riders for $150.
I nearly went in because it's 2 guns for less than 2 hipoints, but I already have a rough rider and rarely shoot it.
In retrospect I should have bought both, welded the muzzles and the bottoms of the cylinders closed, filled them with powder and put a cci maxi-mag under the hammers. I don't know exactly what i'd do with los grenados but I'm sure I could have found something
How much has 22lr gone up over the last year, percentage-wise?
Bulk .22 is now more expensive than 9mm was in 2018/19....
Jfc.
Not sure of percentage but it's .30/rd.
i think it was ~0.09/rnd when i last bought 18 months ago, and back then 5.56 was 0.30/rnd.
Looks like a similar increase. Nutty.
Don't do a shot of that thar whiskey, then toss the glass and fan the hammer till it hits the ground. Or do. I've heard some revolvers can't do that tho.
I bought a rancher carbine its the most retarded thing i own but also i love it to death.
I shoot my .45LC much more than my semiautos. A box of 50 takes an hour or more to plow through.
rUGER wRANGLER is cool though
Some days I wish I was friends with Doc Brown and I could go back and buy 200 OG SAA's for like a grand total. Or load up on Thompsons for $80 a pop (if that). Or a bunch of 1911s for $19.11.
Those days are every day. Every day I wish I could.
