Might be too late at this point but if I can get an answer I think I'll understand where to go from here.
What is more important right now:
Getting a nice black stick to fit in my backpack along with other essential oils and the like or get my "kit" setup (PC, belt, field pack, etc.)
The most important thing to do is fill your kit with as many dildos as possible. Then go bend over in front of the nearest courthouse and loudly scream ‘What are you doing, step-government?’

If you are in the concrete jungle go lo profile. If you are innawoods go overt.
God do I love being inna woods. Few things as satisfying as knowing I just need to cover myself in ferns and mud and then no one will see me.

You have to apply the mud in my area with a putty spatula, minimum layer thickness is 1/4 inch.
Rifle, mags, web gear, CAT tourniquet/IFAK first. Then get a CCW setup, drawing a pistol from a belt is much more practical/faster/looks 10x better for any SD scenario in public. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable keeping up with a gun off my body in the city, i.e. purse or pack. Then add an OWB belt kit.
Have a medical bag with CAT and IFAK and always CCW, are concealable soft plates overkill though?
Soft armor vest suck ass to wear all day especially if it's hot out. If I felt the need to don armor, I either would change my plans/destination for the day or shit is really going down and the full kit/PC comes out.\
I think that most people are lacking in their web gear/PC setup. Find a place to run a full mile in full kit, fix what chafes. Or find a tactical games-style match to attend for a decent shakedown of your gear

Just screw a wall hanger into the furniture and hang that 45-70 fireball maker from your belt like a carpenter's hammer, but not gay.
