February came and went without so much as a capitol insurrection. Good thing the puppet in the white house bombed some place in the middle east so we can have something to talk about.
ask your serious questions here and there's a chance you won't be told to go fuck yourself you no-guns bootlicking cumdumpster.
Are piston guns the new thing over the direct impingement system? I know both have been around forever but a lot of the people at my range are starting to shoot short stroke piston guns (MCX, Bren) more than they used to. Before the long guns at the range were all AR-15s unless it was a Fudd zeroing their hunting rifle. Now there’s more diversity of rifles (diversity is our strength!) at the range
IMO more people are branching out from AR15s since they likely already own more than one and there’s a contingent of people who don’t want an AR just because everyone they know has one so they have to be different, hence the piston guns.
Hence CZ
Wanting to be different is what leads to degeneracy like gaybois and dyed hair.
The Japanese say ‘it is the nail which stands out that gets hammered down’ but they also basically invented ladybois and eating shit so don’t take it as gospel.
I need more paint thinner hang on.
They're not new. At all. Look up the FN FNC and AR18 if you have time and wanna jack it for a bit.
DI kicks ass and works great. So do some piston systems. Thing is, DI is cheaper and everywhere.
Beretta ARX-100 is a neat take on a piston.
What a take. I’m here for it. (Just the charging handle part).
I think mortaring an AR charging handle is just as effective as kicking an AK bolt open, plus it can be done while crouched behind cover. AR also doesn't need to use the charging handle much at all which is a plus, but it does impede the use of stocks with cheek risers. (why use those, tho)
