You can't blame negligent discharges on the type of the firearm. Negligent discharges only happen when someone violates one of the four rules of gun safety, that's why it's called a negligent discharge and not an accidental discharge.
If someone's gun discharges unintentionally while holstering, it was the own idiot's fault.
