You want to post a scam link to an auction for totally legit gift-cards? put it in a text post. You want to post something you want the .win to know about but it isn't gun related? put it in a text post. You want M4M missed connection for that cutie patootie booty with the H&K that was winking at you at the range? put it in a text post.

link posts without guns or gun related things in them will get removed. Also, spam gets removed no matter link or text. Automated moderation for spam here sucks donkey balls so most of it is done manually. If your spam link for gift cards gets removed even though it was text post, that was likely human moderator removal. you can ask through modmail for reinstatement but modmail goes largely ignored most weeks.
