We will see since there’s truckers trying to get organized in the USA to bring a convoy to D.C. but who knows since the social media companies will do everything to shut it down
I saw that ATAK exists and saw a couple videos on some features. It's super cool.
To put it short it's a realtime user updated terrain and intelligence tool. It lets you set up waypoints for patrols, track opposition positions, keeps track of your guys and ties it in to terrain models so you can plot routes to avoid detection and reroute according to blocked paths etc.
It would be a full-time job to administer, but if you can get an adhoc network set up to communicate data with other users, you could give everyone a very nice tool to form a cohesive group that could set up supply lines and outmaneuver opposition.
People: >I'll stand up and fight for my gun rights! They'll never take mine!
Also people: >Forced reset triggers are bad I'm perfectly OK with the ATF going completely outside the law and illegally confiscating them from people. I'm sure they'll stop after that!
If it's 5.56 you've got a number of options, none of which I have experience with. Springfield has just started importing this hawt little thing but it might hit the shelf at 3k. Personally I think I would like the keltec one, although it might be a little flimsy in places.
In 7.62x51 it looks like there's only 3 options and personally again I'd go with keltec, but just for cost reasons.
Speaking frankly, I have my heart already set on Desert Tech's MDRX. It's multi-caliber and reviewed extensively - ultimately very positively - by InRange. Expensive, yes, but certainly not as much as a FAMAS.
I know it's a real weird fucking world compared to '05 when you can get an AR that'll chug through several mags with no problems for $500 and a low grade AK that might asplode for $1000.
Back then it was probably going to be a screw build.
Since then I went to a trade school and learned me how to shoot rivets and bend sheet metal, but I now I work in a machine shop and try to keep worn out 40 year old CNC machines from ending up as paper weights in between burning my hands from arc flashes caused by 50 years of questionable wiring done by previous maintenance guys.
I know a place that had hired a color blind maintenance electrician. Some of the ground wires were hot.
Been looking to take some classes on machining at the tech, but they don't seem to offer real classes on lathe, mill, or sheet metal. Just a single "machining technologies" class that I dont even know if it's worth taking.
I can't speak for every shop, but only a handful of guys can use a Bridgeport to do anything other than face off raw stock and drill a couple holes, and only one guy that can cut threads on a lathe.
We only use CNC for production parts. You can measure tool lengths to within a few tenths with only a 1-2-3 block, bore or boss centers for a work offset with a half thou resolution test indicator, stock material edges for work offsets using a $15 edge finder and check your work with a half thou resolution caliper. Of course most of our production parts have a .020" general tolerance and there's lots of blending, but all that equipment will get you a part that's at least within .005".
Back when I was a young lad, there were these things called video rental stores.
Everyone in school talked about "sweet action" on the VHS tapes "we also called the cassettes" found in the tapes behind the bead curtain. I wasn't allowed to go in there, but from what I gathered, they had videos of women getting sweet action.
I've yet to successfully switch out (h)ear pro to different mounts. Everytime I pull the frame out it buggars something up. Should I take it in the shower with me to warm it up first?

ATAK + Hammer + radios + a few trucks with savvy copilots to manage things =

TBF I haven't seen anyone ok with the FRT situation, just complacent about it.
They can own some pretty cool stuff ngl. Pinned mags make it gay though.
Anyone can own anything they can buy, it just all depends on your cash flow and opsec
What bullpup should I get when my tax refund comes through?
This one
Ohhh. That's a nice filthy little slut.
Perfect thing to drop a tapco-fucked sks into.
don't question, just consume
Any specifications?

MDRX micro looks pretty cool
Which gen PSA AK is best?
I knew about the GF3 being decent but now I see they have GF4s and GF5s
Been developing a serious horniness for AKs lately, but is also poorfag
I know it's a real weird fucking world compared to '05 when you can get an AR that'll chug through several mags with no problems for $500 and a low grade AK that might asplode for $1000.
PSA AKs are spontaneously disassembling?
Don't have one but was close to getting one.
I don't know anything about currently made AKs.
I was gonna build one years back but to also buy the tools for one build would have been a waste.
I wanted to take one of the AK build classes, but couldn't afford it back then. And now those classes are even more ridiculously priced.
But now ARs are the cheap guns go figure.
Just another side effect of the strange times we're in? 🤡🌎

Oof. Could be worse.

Anyone know where I can get some of that sweet VHS-2 action?

All I want is a Croatian 🅱️ullpup. Is that so much to ask? 😭😭😭
All my VHS are old because DVDs are I guess a thing now.
They're not old now.
Just collectable.
I've seen em floating around a couple of places for around 2k. They're cool, but not 2k cool IMO.
I've yet to successfully switch out (h)ear pro to different mounts. Everytime I pull the frame out it buggars something up. Should I take it in the shower with me to warm it up first?
I shot a Sig Legion x-five the other day.
It fucking haunts me. So shootable.
How have I gone this long without EDCing a competition pistol?
So is this Russian invasion going to happen or what it’s another “2 more weeks” type of scenario
“Hey look over there something totally crazy is happening don’t pay attention to things nearby that actually affect you!”
Win_User - not to derail here, but any idea what's going on with the other .wins?
Apparently some people did some stuff. Honestly no clue, I stay in our little corner and don’t have insight or input into the larger .win ecosystem.
Hopefully the BS leaves this little slice of weekend gunnit alone. Took long enough to find this place as it is.
Unfortunately I feel like they'll come after the gunnits eventually.
If you're bored or something while waiting for WW3 to begin, read a book.
Might I humbly suggest TM31-210, MCDP1, expedient homemade firearms, the art of war, rangers handbook, or farming for dummies?
