The what? Sorry we don't know this sort of culture here.
Jokes beside, not that great.
The acceptance of gunownership in germany is pretty low. 82 million living here, only 1 million poeple owning ~5 million guns.
To get one you either have to be member in an goverment approved sport shooting club, a hunter or a collector. Getting the first one is the hardest part, after that it is mostly bureaucratic effort to get more. But you are limited to buying two guns every 6 month. In theory there is no limit on how many you own, as long as you can store them in a certified gun safe.
I own six and already bought number seven. I'm currently waiting on the police to process my paperwork. Then I can pick it up and again have to get more paperwork processed.
There is are new gun laws coming, that restrict ownership of formery free parts, like AR lowers and many other parts. Worst thing is a magazine restriction to 20 rounds for pistols and 10 rounds for rifles. If you own a Glock and an AR9 with Glock mags you can only have 10 rounders.
Some other bullshit laws in place regulating the appereance of a gun for sporting use (but not hunting). We still can have a ton of nice stuff, mostly every "normal" kind of gun is allowed. No full auto (with very few exceptions), no bullpup for sport shooting, no centerfire pistols with a caliber smaller than 6.5mm (no FiveSeven here).
List goes on, but it's all workable. If you really want a gun for sports or hunting you can get one. Everyone else doesn't get any besides air guns or blank guns.
Basically no carry permits for real guns, only for blank guns (for whatever reason you want this).
If you have more questions feel free to ask. I'll answer them best I can
