Not that it makes the visual any more clear but... after closer inspection of the video, there was actually someone else (not the "shoot me nigga" guy) that was shooting (presumably at Kyle) in the video, right before the "me first" guy got to Kyle.
So to me, that's even more of a slam dunk for self-defense. Some guy is chasing you down, and suddenly you start hearing gun shots behind you.
Further more, and this part is all conjecture and not verified at all, people are wondering if the gunfire from the handgun was what actually domed the guy.. seeing as the guys head seemed relatively intact for being hit with a 5.56 point blank.
That's true. The bullet hole looked very small and there didn't appear to be a large exit wound. A .223 at close range like that would have fucking nuked that guys head, wouldn't it? Maybe I'm wrong, I don't have much experience with shooting people in the head.

It definitely would. I’ve never shot a head, but I’ve seen Paul Harrell shoot many meat targets.
I read in an article that the bullet just knicked his head, so I guess that explains it
