For clarification, the rifle would be under the bench seat in the back, legally cased and unloaded; out of sight. Same with the plates and other gear, my truck is very nondescript and has heavily tinted windows. My concern is that; I work armed corporate security and am worried that I may be a target. Should things pop off I am responsible for emptying my building of employees then securing the building and then gettingtfo. I am worried that things will grow out of control before I can safely evac my employees and then get myself out.

My plates are ceramic IV (not my fitness training ones) I have to wear my soft carrier for work everyday so I keep the rifle plates accessible to slip on over my shirt should I need it. I know they are supposed to be multi hit rated for most common rounds but that isn't exactly something I'd like to test so the thought of having 3a on as backups gives me some comfort.

Everyone will mock you but Ruger 10/22's are a reliable semiauto, still on store shelves, $330, can be fitted with 110 round mags, and at least where I live there is still .22Lr on the shelves. When push comes to shove an 8y.o.'s first gun is better than no gun. Should've planned ahead guy.

Similar to my wife and I, I run 3a soft carrier under my plates, theoretically the plates should slow down projectiles enough to be caught by the soft carrier, it also gives underarm protection and with a tacvent runs cooler than just plates.

Just keep it cost probative for you to do anything, while continually keeping those who are willing to stand up on the back foot fighting things like pistol brace bans.

Thought it was interesting to read the actual events that likely inspired the 2A, more than conjecture and' WeLl ObViOuSlY tO fIgHt A tYrAnIcAl GoVeRnMeNt" I prefer to see events and orders.

Generally used as a term for shooting the commie terrorists invading Rhodesia, however; it has been twisted by msm and leftists so take what you want.

What did you go with for the Upper/Lower combo? How is the fitment? I've read some horror stories about non-matching Upper/Lower combos since it isn't really standardized like the ar-15 is.

Fair enough, did a similar build a while ago (much less carbon cuz I'm a poor) but looking at my ammo stockpile last month decided to go ahead a build up an LR308. Its partially done but I'm stuck waiting for optics planet to pull their heads out and finish shipping my shit.

The back helos must've gotten him. Probably got disappeared with a bag over his head in the middle of the night. That's what happens when you don't have a doggo for them to shoot.

Well isn't this thread just full of sunshine, rainbows and unicorn farts. I think the weather will factor to an extent, however; you have to remember the pink "pussy" hat marches all across the country. It wasn't exactly warm when they took to screaming at the sky. As much as things have been stirred up, in the event of a DT win, we will see some real interesting shit. The reason I think things haven't boiled over is the more leftist places (Where the riots tend to occur) are not generally where crotchety old rednecks and your right leaning folks live or particularly care about. If they decide to start targeting right wing neighborhoods in retaliation for a DT win, then I bet you see the boog start to kick off. Until then I know lots of folks that are perfectly content to watch these people burn down their, and their former "moderate" sympathizers homes and businesses. All it will achieve is turning the more reasonable people away from them.

Starting to sound like the 3% number is coming from pension filings post war. So that would be survivors who chose to file after the war, and in the regular army, not militiamen. Leading to the number being potentially much higher. But yes, I agree not 100% not even half the population was likely involved at the start.

Agreed, the Mason Dixon line made the civil war possible. This time around things seem more oriented to flyover country vs the coasts or even cities vs rural. The thing is with that separation it isn't geographically defined enough to see armies fighting each other. The way it looks to me is more institutions vs the disenfranchised. Be that the press, universities, or big tech it doesn't seem to me to be leading to a civil war, more like the Vichy French vs French Resistance or the British vs the IRA. Quite frankly I don't want it to go there. Is there a way to stop this train?

That's where I'm torn, its hard to imagine waking up Nov. 4 and suddenly COVID the riots all of that stuff is just poof. . . . gone. I don't think we can put the genie back in the bottle on this one. Not to mention how fast things seem to be escalating idk if we even make it to the election before we reach the boiling point.

Anti-2a folks will call in the serial and report the firearm as stolen. Then the owner/poster catches that charge.

I really hope that other states follow suit and we get all high cap bans reversed.
