Why would you buy stuff from a sketchy website when there are so many better options? Brownells and Classic Firearms have tons of parts and mags. Then there’s always your local gun shop assuming they aren’t complete dicks with their prices. Every now and then you can even get a good deal on mags and parts on GunBroker

Corporate information for this business indicates it is a one man shop that pulls in <$90K year. The registered agent also runs Copperhead Ranch, LLC which is right next door. Tax assessment information for the property match the owner's name.

Over the years I have learned to mostly ignore these. Hell there's a thread in another forum from 2014 that still pops up that I didn't respond to. We have had a lot of awesome loyal customers over the years and have built some life long relationships. Unfortunately as a small business owner dealing with stupid is just part of it and here we are. I am going to break the rules and respond to our buddies shit post mainly because its just hilarious. Some of what has been said is true. The order was placed on 03OCT2021 at 11:17PM with 2nd Day Air shipping. Matthew called twice on 06OCT2021 and as stated the first call went unanswered. I want to say there were two emails as well but I don't feel like digging for those. I did answer the second call but I recall some minor differences in details. Matthew inquired about his order and I told him to contact us through the website and I would respond with details which is my standard response when Im busy packing orders. He then stated that he paid for 2 day shipping and its whatever day since his order. I responded that the average order processing time is four to five business days which does not include shipping times, also my standard response. (Most people should know that expedited shipping options does not include processing times unless otherwise agreed to. All of this is and was mentioned inner T and C's and is standard with most businesses.) With that the conversation was ended with really nothing to write about. Then the texts started... At this point Matthew had become what I affectionally refer to as a problem customer and when I can choose not to do business with this category of customer I choose not to. I chose to cancel the order and initiate the refund to the customer. The kicker is the order had already shipped so I had to turn it around. This was of course my choice and I am so glad I made that choice. To the guys and gals of The Prepper Tree if you are on here, thanks for the thought but please you can keep this one. Carlos Neal Davila born in April and is 47 years old is a fucking punk. He’s the owner of bayou. I order a trigger group from them and paid almost as much for shipping as I did the part. A week goes by with no status update on shipping. It was supposed to be a two day shipping. Anyway I call them and at first I just get a voicemail that says you’ve reached by you and that he’s indisposed at the moment and won’t be around for some time and reach him at the info at bayou runner to get a hold of them. So then I give them a call back later on any answers. Carlos answers the phone and he was very rude I asked politely if this was by you he said yes what do I want so I was explaining to him that I was just checking up on a purchase that I had made and gave them the invoice number he then tells me that he was busy and he says if it’s in an unknown status it’s an unknown status and that they’re busy and handling times are usually between two and three days but sometimes longer. So I explain to him that I had ordered it about a week ago and he told me he didn’t know what to tell me he was busy. So then I text him asking him to please ship my order and that the reason that I picked his company out of everything else was that he was a veteran and I would appreciate getting my product. He then text me back saying that my order will be canceled and then I needed to piss off. But hasn’t refunded me any money and it’s been a while
