It's good but only worth the greenbacks on sale. I'm on number 3 so let's saddle up and ride to 2021. Where the sheep become fodder and the men become men.
Nope. This is just a blip on the road map to we're fucked town. If anything the pedo and the whore will use this as evidence more govt control is needed. This may be a stepping stone but it's not the boston massacre or lexington. Though I don't think they're far off.
From ballistic gel tests FMJ will just poke holes in a torso, penetrating all the way through. Not a lot of damage unless something vital was hit. I'm not sure if studies have been done on it, I'm sure there's a military or police study out there. Hollowpoint 9mm projectiles are still available, it wouldn't be difficult to pull the FMJ's and replace with something better.
True. I realize that I'd never actually need more than a single box of defense ammo, but it feels weird to daily carry ammo for more than a few months without shooting/replacing it. Plus, falling back on .45 ball from a German gat would be much more effective than 9mm ball, anyway.
haven't, but 2x seems like an odd choice to me. 1x I get because it's just point and click irons ... 3x I get because 3x is actually usable magnification at 100 yards. I don't understand the point of fixed 2x
Heard good things, considered one really hard but everything i read indicated that 2x just isn't enough and that one should just go 3x with a magnified.
I mean you should always talk to your local representative. Most politics is local. Go introduce yourself, volunteer for something, educate general public idiots, you know all that good stuff.
I got a D50 but it was always jamming, so thinking I might just got a dud, I got another one and it runs just as reliably (like shit). Tried it in multiple builds with different ammo. The bolt ends up sitting in and denting the middle of the casing when trying to feed. Is this a known issue?
I've seen D50's work with that config. It sounds like your mag isn't getting the round high enough, is too slow in presenting the round, or your BGC isn't low enough to strip the round out. The only one you can fix would be to slow the cyclic rate with a heavier buffer setup, if the mag feeds fine operating the bolt manually. Also check to see if your BCG is retracting too far into the buffer tube, a few quarters down the tube as spacers will fix that. A call to Magpul may fix it, or they may send you a new one to try?
Dunno if it matters, but with the bolt closed I really have to hammer on em to get the mag release to catch. Open bolt is no problem. The upper and lower are matched pretty well and they run well with other pmags. Oh God I'm looking at buffer info again. I thought that was just a bad dream.
What happens if the bcg retracts too far? This was kinda relevent. Checking bolt travel sounds like a good idea.
I did hand crack a bunch and they worked fine. Solid advice.
Being difficult to insert on a closed bolt shouldn't be an issue.
Your link describes it perfectly, it's basically a reliability check. .308 BCG's have more mass, so if it gets too much energy to slam into the bolt catch, the bolt catch tends to break. This is compounded by the fact that many AR-10 bolt catches, such as the one in the Aero kit, are MIM and are therefore weaker. A machined, steel bolt catch would be a good longevity/reliability upgrade.
If you can feed manually, now you can try adding a heavier buffer or decreasing gas if you have an adjustable gas block. A heavier buffer would be the better bet. Or blame the D-50 for feeding too slow, especially if the problems get worse towards the end of the mag. Can you increase the spring tension in one of those?

If you use a drum I assume you're putting more weight than the manufacturer anticipated on whatever mechanism latches the mag in place. Do you run the risk of somehow damaging, like grinding down or bending, that mechanism to the point of mags no longer sticking in?
Is this affected by gun design? Or metal VS polymer mags? Drums that don't hold back the bolt when empty? Or my promag drum I have to open and close the bolt while inserting to get it to catch?
Sooooo watching what's happening in DC... What is everyone's thoughts on this.
mags loaded and rifles at the ready in every room of the house. not just because of this, either ... it should be how you live your life.
Or you're just now staging guns in your house then you're doing it wrong
Well something finally happened after years of nothing.
A lot of noise and video that people will watch on the internet and say stupid, inane shit about.
Sounds like a hell of a fun time though. I admit storming the Capitol building would a huge sexual thrill.
Still waiting on tasha yar's phone number bby.
Protestors breached the capital building and it's on lockdown right now
And they placed a 6PM curfew
Oh I'm sure these people who are breaking into the capitol will obey a curfew....
I hope they don’t forget about the tunnels
Should I pour a large bourbon or extra large bourbon?
Extra, extra large. What kind of bourbon?
Ever had bullet bourbon? Damn good brand.
What kind of fuckin degen hasn't had bulleit? Hell their rye is great too. But really I'm drinking buffalo trace tonight.
That's a tasty beverage right there. One of my only friends was telling me of that tasty stuff recently.
It's good but only worth the greenbacks on sale. I'm on number 3 so let's saddle up and ride to 2021. Where the sheep become fodder and the men become men.
I'll buy that for a dollar fren.
One bourbon I have not yet tried.
IS IT FUCKING HAPPENING FOR REAL??!
it looks like the boog may be kicking off in the swamp right now
Nope. This is just a blip on the road map to we're fucked town. If anything the pedo and the whore will use this as evidence more govt control is needed. This may be a stepping stone but it's not the boston massacre or lexington. Though I don't think they're far off.
It's January of take your pick: 1775 or 1861. Either way April is going to get interesting.
How effective is 9mm fmj at typical pistol distances?
Only gots so many JHPs and i don't want any guests to feel i was rude or didn't take care of their needs properly.
Center mass hits with good shot placement how effective is 9mm vs jhps?
I know hollowpoints are the superior self defense choice and that's always what i rock but ammo shortages being what they are how does fmj stack up?

Solid. I didn't even think of pulling projectiles. Thanks fren.
Just trying to think creatively and practically.
I have enough jhps i'm prolly dead before i run out.

It pleases me you know of me and my work.
Anyone try the new Primary Arms 2x prism optic yet?
haven't, but 2x seems like an odd choice to me. 1x I get because it's just point and click irons ... 3x I get because 3x is actually usable magnification at 100 yards. I don't understand the point of fixed 2x
Sounds about right. It would take the place of a red-dot on a short-barrel build- my eyes have the 'stigm.
Heard good things, considered one really hard but everything i read indicated that 2x just isn't enough and that one should just go 3x with a magnified.
I have the old 2.5x and its just enough magnification to make you want a 3x...
IS THIS THE BOOG???
Get your gun, strip naked and go sit on your front lawn waiting for Paul Revere to ride by.
Havent seen horse yet. What am I doing wrong?
You gotta shave off all your pubes and get even drunker.
I mean you should always talk to your local representative. Most politics is local. Go introduce yourself, volunteer for something, educate general public idiots, you know all that good stuff.
True but it also has a ton of we can't go back now consequences. This ain't checkers buckwheat.

What BCG are you using, in what receiver set?
Toolcraft bcg's, AERO uppers/lowers.
Spez: all in 7.62x51

I was more than happy with the D60. It dumps like a boss. The D50 spring tension is adjustable, will report back.
Non adjustable gas block. Not to belabor the point, but other mags run fine. Getting ahold of Magpul sounds like a solid course of action.
Malfunctions occur regardless of loadedness of clipazine.
Other folks I've spoke to also had no problems with this cursed piece of technology.
To my knowledge the bolt catch works well and as was intended.

That would be a .win admin question (thedonald). We’re just hanging on their domain coat tails
Thedonald works fine for me.
Scrolling all the way down in this thread works fine for me so I got no idea
Go to .win settings and turn off auto-scrolling. Worked for me a few months ago.
Thanks. I finally got there and figured it out. Now i can see 100% of the 'tism.
Anyone ever fucked around with Juggernaut Tactical AR10 uppers? Been looking at their completes but that’s like 2 hole stimmees.
I got a handguard from them. It took about 3 months to arrive, but I like it. I didn't know they made receivers. Also, they are from commiefornia.
I respect anyone who’s willing to set up camp in hostile territory.
Is this win fag friendly? tanks
No one cares if you’re gay as long as you own a gun and hate the federal government. Just don’t be a fag
Everyone here is some kind of faggot
