I got banned from r/ar15 because I told a bot the if weekend was still around we wouldn't be in the shitty ar15 sub. Permanently band and the mod went out of there way to let me know I was a racist with a foot fetish. We definitely aren't missing anything by not being there eventhough this sub isn't as fun as it used to be.

There's only a few things I miss from reddit's weekendgunnit.

All those amazing based posts that are now lost forever due to not being cached or saved.

I miss the wholesome toxicity that bordered on 4chan /b/ levels but yet it seemed everyone cared about each other when it mattered. I got downvoted to shit and banned one day for commenting something like "thanks guys you're awesome. I knew I could depend on y'all" under a post asking for advice

I was required to pay the fine of some naked girl pic and a sloppy joe recipe.

I spent 15 minutes to find the hottest fucking nude photo of a ginger girl (dont remember why I chose ginger) that I could find for the mods, and I found a nice sloppy joe recipe soon after. God damn that chick was fuckin BANGIN. I was then unbanned.

Lastly, I miss the fact that there was more of you fucking assholes on the communist site. I miss the amount of quality shit posts. I miss all the legendary OPs that will never see this comment. Especially that one guy that did the "How to sell your gun: THE XYZ WAY!" He did a fudd and dindu version that had me dying.

I can't believe how fucked things are. All of us are now "right wing extremists" because of a fucking civil war joke and dank memes. I miss the way things used to be.

Wasome was right.. after 100,000 subscribers, a sub goes downhill. We just never realized how quickly it would do so.

I would be if people posted more than 0.8 posts per day. When these subreddits and communities fragment from mainstream sites, they lose a fuckton of traffic. That's (1(1(their))) goal. I would like to find a good chat or forum to discuss firearms stuff that isn't full of fudds like barfcom or pozzed tranny anime shit like 4/k/, but it seems almost impossible with everyone battening down the hatches because of scares with fed action over the fake boog boi movement.

Something like 8/k/ that has unrestricted discussion with no weebs or other faggotry would be a nice thing to visit.

I shredded my reddit account when gunnit died. Five years of almost daily use. Probably 150k karma, couple of front page posts. I treated that shit like a game for a few months trying to get into the 100k+ sub.

It makes me sad, but as far as I am concerned, Reddit is gone. Had been gone for awhile, but the community at gunnit was the last one there that I didn't walk on eggshells in. I do miss the more lively and larger group of idiots.

I'm not going back. I'm not contributing clicks or content to that place. It was a part of my life longer than it should have been. It used to be about freedom and all these little communities before it got eaten by the hive mind. Crazy little subculture, but they took it from us. Now the best I can do is not be part of it and hope that enough decent people leave to form community elsewhere.

And of course start thinking about how to fight back as that same hivemind takes over the entire real world.

Yes I'm having fun here. There are less posts per day, but what's here is far greater than what was on reddit. I got my life back too by quitting reddit. I come here maybe once a day while taking a shit, laugh, maybe post some, and then go back to doing things that are allegedly productive.

Here almost all the content is good right now. I don't have to weed through 900 posts made by retarded eunuchs. Wish there was more meth here, but that will com in time I'm sure.

I still think its funny that after all those years of talking tough about how free men dont ask, and liberty or death, the mods bowed out with a whimper and tried to act tough about it.

Then tried to blame the community for being too crazy like that wasn't what they were going for. Lost a lot of respect for the mod team that day. Turns out they aren't willing to stand up, will just get willingly trod on.
