Take it swimming with you, preferably out in the ocean or some ocean-sized lake. The currents will make sure you get all the anti-seize out of the cracks, and you can finally have fun taking out the boat!

Just make sure to patch up those holes in the bottom of the boat from your last outing with JB Weld first, you wouldn't want to have a terrible accident that sinks you and all your cargo.

Here's the thing - lots of people talk about barrel life but the number of people who actually shoot enough to burn out a barrel is very low. I burnt out one 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, after shooting 3,500 rounds of ammo through it. Even reloading that shit at 40cpr that's $1,400 of ammo, and if you shoot factory ammo it's going to be $3,000+ to shoot that much and your barrel might even last a bit longer than mine did since I was using pissin' hot loads (147gr bullets at 2900fps, the same as the factory 6.5 PRC loads).

A nice new Criterion barrel for a Savage rifle will run you $370. The rifle itself cost like $500, and you're worried about the barrel lasting longer than thousands of rounds and dollars worth of ammo down the tube? If you can spend $1,500+ on the ammo required to burn out a barrel, you can spend the $370 to re-barrel that shit afterwards.

I'll have you know I smoked my doe in the slightly less dense clusterfuck of SW Missouri's woods/corn fields. That said, I was shooting a 6BR so that might make me more Fudd and offset things since it has "benchrest" in the name.

Either way, the deer nearly hit my cousin's truck 5 minutes earlier so I had no choice but to shoot that one instead of waiting for something else. Gotta show them deer the consequences for being an asshole pedestrian.

Don't worry though guys, gun control totally works!

Seriously, how can the people pushing gun control honestly think that anymore? They themselves are the ones refusing to enforce the gun control they so desperately want, and then they act like the solution is to add more laws that they'll refuse to enforce as well?

This is a textbook example of why gun control doesn't work. Even if someone gets caught out by gun control laws, the odds of preventing a future incident by arresting someone are effectively 0%.

I feel you, I was super competitive into bullseye pistol matches through middle and high school so I understand the struggle there. At least there are exemptions for possession if you are traveling to/from or actively using it for sporting purposes, but the whole thing is bullshit in the first place. I also did a lot of trap/skeet shooting and that was 10x easier since the restrictions on possession shotguns were basically zero for me.

Note that section 3 of the law in question provides a blanket exception for rifles possessed by minors, so long as they aren't also violating SBR statutes.

17 yr old with a rifle.

Minors are legally able to own and possess long guns, including rifles and shotguns. There is no minimum age for that, only for handguns. You cannot purchase from a licensed dealer, but you are legally allowed to own and possess them.

Dude, you're too retarded to be here.

Minors can legally own rifles and shotguns. They cannot purchase them from a licensed dealer, but they can legally own and possess them. Only handguns require a minimum age of 18 to legally own and possess.

Nah man, even if he was using Hardline he'd still only be up to a UAV/Counter UAV or a Care Package. Personal Radar or a Shield Turret if he isn't running Hardline or he only knocked the last dude.

The guy with the handgun was a convicted felon carrying a Glock 26. That idiot is going back in the slammer, preferably for a much longer time than the first occasion.

You can legally possess a rifle at any age. You must be 18 to purchase one from a licensed dealer, but you can possess a rifle or shotgun no matter how young you are. Handguns are the only firearm with an age limit for possession, requiring you to be 18 to possess them.

Open carry laws generally apply to any weapon you may legally posses. I'd like to see the source for claiming that he can't legally open carry.

I mean you're buying a Deagle because it's cool, so why wouldn't you buy the Deagle in the cool caliber too?

Gold plated or bust tho.
