That's funny. I was subbed there too back before I rage quit Reddit. Even bought a magnet, but haven't used it yet.

I actually ran into this guy's videos while watching magnet fishing ones.

Lever gats have more capacity than you'd think. Gotta count projectiles, not primers.

45-70 @ 405 gr, 4+1 capacity: 405 * 5 = 2025

M193 @ 55 gr, 30 + 1 capacity: 55 * 31 = 1705

If you can get 5 shots off in 3 seconds with that 45-70 (painful, but doable), you are actually sending more lead down range per second than a full auto M16 at a 600 rpm cyclic rate.

45-70 is basically a burst fire 9mm SMG, where the burst is achieved by simply melting a bunch of bullets together.

Will this thing still cycle? Aren't these gas operated, and the dwell time here is approximately zero?

I kept seeing the meme and had never seen the video. LOL.

This might not be great for public opinion, but that only proves the public is degenerate. In a civilized country these men would be heros.

It seems like a round in the scuba tank would leave a bigger mess and less usable evidence. I believe demo ranch did a whole video on this exact topic.

Though I question if he's really in the wrong. You don't toss a Phoenix or a Lorsen into a lake to hide it from steppers. Helping to enforce gun control is bullshit, but I'm still okay with murder being illegal in at least some cases.

The gun finds have been incidental. He mostly goes after missing persons cases. Those videos are actually pretty fun to watch. He's given closure to a lot of families -- in a couple cases he's really pissed off local law enforcement by exposing their laziness and incompetence.

This. There are states where this is a legal gray area, but in most of the US getting together and practicing skills is perfectly legal and a great way to meet like minded people and at least one undercover FBI agent.

Regular 44 mag yes. 44 mag reloaded with solid nylon bullets and used to kick of a (shall we say... Unintended) war with the glowies is firmly lower right.

I'm guessing that #1 OR #2 is easy for most people, but getting both is a little harder.

Don't rush that deadlift. It's key to get the form right before loading it up, and that takes considerable practice. Most people living modern lives have really shitty control of the muscles between their shoulder blades, and you need those to fire properly before you'll be able to keep your spine stable.

A great way to work on that is to start with a lighter weight (about a quarter to half your body weight), start at the TOP of the lift, tuck your shoulder blades together and down and act like you are putting the bar down, but only go to the point where your knees would start bending then come back up. Basically it's the top part of the deadlift. High reps -- maybe 10 rep sets (we're working on dark meat here).

Once you have back stabilisation, you'll be amazed how much weight you can pull. Your body weight will get easy fast. Bigger guys will easily hit 1.5x, smaller guys will easily hit 2x. Doing that is like nature's steroids -- ALL your other lifts will get better too.

Exit this world like you entered it -- tripping balls, covered in blood, and wearing a full body bunny suit.

Well, they didn't specify the weapon used, so we know that it wasn't an AR-15.

If the safe has anything other than tannerite (to include air) you're doing it wrong.

It almost makes me thankful for the pandemic and the "election" we just witnessed. If this bill passes there is a good chance I will be killed or imprisoned as a result. Accepting that now is a lot easier than it would have been a year ago.

Our future is already gone if we comply, so there is nothing left to lose by fighting back.

It is ironic that a blueprint for peacefully running a society was cut out of the book to make room for a gun.

This is a little (maybe entirely) off topic for this sub, but wall street has fucked around, and people are organizing a little bit of a find out party here.

Please pardon my glowie assed shilling. It's an exciting day.

How do? Unless you mean in the same sense that all gun control is illegal... in which case, that hasn't prevented enforcement.

What killed the space magic was the invention of the digital watch. There was no longer the need to incorporate a mechanical alarm clock into a rifle action to keep the trains running on time.

5 inch drop

Inches, feet, yards. Definitely 5 of something though, yeah.

This, but also sometimes when I am watching streams and expecting a same-night hootanany.

Looks like a copy of the last ban. Am amused that the FN FAL is on there but the SCAR is not.

I'm not that old, but if this continues I probably won't be around for 2030.

Yeah, I keep a decent stock too. Like, probably could last a lifetime for just doing practical things.

I don't have anywhere near a lifetime supply of ammo for fun/training though, and it's not really feasible to buy that at the moment.
