I am admittedly getting closer and closer to "actual right wing extremists" as time goes by. Nazis are icky but they are rapidly becoming the last group that hasn't expressed an open desire to kill me in my sleep.

The practice of marginalizing and demonizing all the people that disagree with the left is a very dangerous practice.

More people die every year from being beaten to death with bare hands than AR-15s.

To be fair, AR-15s are a really shitty implement for beating people to death. This is one place where the old wood and steel bolt guns really shine.

Gun and ammo purchases should be tax deductible just like donations to churches, for exactly the same reason.

Imagine your dog getting shot because you bought a newspaper without a tax stamp. Or invoked your right to remain silent.

Alternatively, if a $200 tax on my SBR is okay then we should charge the same amount to vote.

Maybe the brace would still exist, but would only be used for its declared intended purpose -- as a way to help the handicapped.

Fortunately, this is the fastest growing demographic in America right now.

We can all converge around the glow from this post. It should be visible to anyone within 3 states.

The AR is the perfect intermediate caliber rifle. I wish I could find an equally well standardized and tested platform in .308

Where is the PSA of FAL parts?

Got front site? Make a rear one. Sharpie. Cardboard. Duct tape. They will never look close enough to tell the difference.

Also, at 7 yards its likely a viable site if you bore site it when you make it.

I shredded my reddit account when gunnit died. Five years of almost daily use. Probably 150k karma, couple of front page posts. I treated that shit like a game for a few months trying to get into the 100k+ sub.

It makes me sad, but as far as I am concerned, Reddit is gone. Had been gone for awhile, but the community at gunnit was the last one there that I didn't walk on eggshells in. I do miss the more lively and larger group of idiots.

I'm not going back. I'm not contributing clicks or content to that place. It was a part of my life longer than it should have been. It used to be about freedom and all these little communities before it got eaten by the hive mind. Crazy little subculture, but they took it from us. Now the best I can do is not be part of it and hope that enough decent people leave to form community elsewhere.

And of course start thinking about how to fight back as that same hivemind takes over the entire real world.

Yeah, but report that mod to the reddit admins for kink shaming on the foot fetish. That isn't okay.

A certain amount of anti-semitism is to be expected these days. It's basically a byproduct of all the deplatforming happening lately. With every mainstream social media platform pushing out people that don't toe the line, all roads kind of lead to 4chan.

The end result of pushing liberty minded types out of every other place is that a significant number of them wind up exposed to 24/7 neonazi propaganda. They refer to it as the libertarian to fascist pipeline over on /pol.

While I won't go so far as to say that current events should turn a guy into a Nazi, I think for a certain percentage out there those ideas have become an easier sell as a result of all the racially charged unrest. The timing of Reddit and Facebook's little censorship stunts couldn't have been much worse (or better, I guess, depending on how polished your goose step is).

In much the same way that Obama was one of the nation's greatest gun salesman, Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Huffman have become two of Hitler's greatest evangelists.

The trouble with smart guns is that legislation is being pushed that make them mandatory as soon as technologically feasible. Not sure if any states have passed it, but it's one of those bills that is basically in committee every single year.

We don't want this tech to exist because we'll be stuck with it.

I don't think they have lawsuit support in Minecraft yet, unfortunately.

You can, but this would be a tactically questionable decision until they've gotten rid of more police officers.

Anarcho-tyranny.

Lawless behavior from one group, and the iron fist of the law enforcing victimhood on their victims.

Dude who fired three shots into the car better get charges.

They released him. Doesn't mean he won't be charged, but I am really curious why he isn't locked up.

I have been looking, but I don't think there are any better videos publically released. There is one other floating around but it's even more confused than this one.

The APD had a press announcement yesterday. According to them the AK was never discharged. The first five rounds were the driver of the car firing at Garret. The second three rounds were another bystander in the crowd discharging at the car as it drove away.

The driver is saying that Garret pointed the rifle at him. Other people of course say other things. For the driver's sake I really hope clear video comes out. My guess is that any videos showing it was a clean shoot are likely to be deleted by protestors though.

The driver has been questioned and released, which surprised me a little (not that I think he should be charged... just that I am surprised the justice system isn't making his life more miserable). The bystander who squeezed off the three rounds at the fleeing car was also released, which surprises me a lot more -- I don't see any clear self defense justification for those shots.

Noticed loud booms at 0:47. Five if them. One seems to coincide with a muzzle flash outside the car, but I am not sure.

Quiet pops at 0:56.

I think the dude with the AK fired first. Either into the air, or at the car. To avoid disparaging the dead I will assume the former because having your last act be 5 misses of a stationary guy at 3 yards with a rifle... well, that is just embarrassing.

The narrative that Garret was a victim is getting even thinner though. This looks like it was pretty clear self defense. It also maintains our record of not firing until fired.upon, which I personally think is a good thing.
