Also stoner would do the sr15, cause you know that was his improvement to the platform

Its a cool novelty, but shootability suffers from the light weight (think why national match guys will put lead weights in their guns, heavier is steadier. Don't be a retard and have a 15lb shtf rifle, but 7ish +/- 1 is good place to be) also Ian and Karl are fags, ian is a good historian and thats about it, Karl is a huge tool who can shoot decent at a club level but talks like he's a world champion. Also non captured pins is big ghey, Colt did a threaded takedown pin so it wouldn't fall out without having the need of a detent 20 years ago, and Colt couldn't keep a company that had the biggest reputation in America in the black. There's not even a hoke in the stock to be a poor man's hk. Will say good on them for keeping the price point they said they were, and the lowers themselves would be decent to play with, but they built a service rifle and ignored almost every update the army did to make carbines more effective, no provision to mount ir, limited railspace, the heavy barrels weren't for accuracy they were for sustained fire, and the scs is nice, but I'm sure its been tested, and passed over in favor of a regular heavy buffer system, or the a5. And no matter what they (Karl) says unless its exclusively kicking doors then then usasoc tends to like the highest ability to get a pid as possible, so red dots are a secondary sighting system in favor of lvpos. Ok done sperging, its a neat gun and they're pretty decent as far as components, but I wouldnt consider it a serious use in any sense.

Ptr doesn't make a 5.56 last I checked, just 308/7.62x39/9mm.

Yeah, they're only going to get worse, so if you even might get one then pi k some up.

Mags are expensive, century is shit, and it's an outdated system: do it.

But for real, it'll probably work, buy from somewhere you can check bolt gap, idk the spec off the top of my head., and be prepared to potentially replace parts with expensive HK parts, but you can't flex harder than an hk, and as long as you carefully pose your Instawhore pics no one will know better.

Got an arken, the new sh4, its pretty good, seemed to track well, clarity seems on par with burris xtr scopes, could see .223 impacts on steel at 700. Its pretty good value wise. Tracking is super clicky, and seems to be true, and be repeatable. Mounts are expensive unless you get theirs, but I just went with a regular 34mm mount. Lead time is a bitch though

Tracer-Ball-Ball-API-Ball-Ball-Tracer-Ball-Ball-Ball-AP-etc. Gotta be able to get into cadence quick, and lock that beat zone down

Some .22s, and older guns in general aren't entirely good to dry fire. The 22s can peen the firing pin over and have issues, and in general older guns have worse metal, so the resonance can cause the firing pin to have fractures that'll cause it to break. Not an absolute rule, and a bit usually won't hurt, but in general unless its something easily replaceable its not a good idea. And cz75 pattern pistols can have issues with the firing pin block retaining roll pin getting bent out of shape, but thats more of an issue with design then dry firing, a snap cap or a heavier roll pin fixes the issue

Ko2M is pretty cool, not a lot of coverage. Fun to see guys blast 3k with .375s then that one dude shows up with a winmag and gets like solid upper third.

For 5.56 and sbr length, 12.5 if unsuppressed, if suppressed 10.5 is handy. If youre open to other calibers a 12.5 grendel is supersonic to like 700-800meters, and will have 1k ft-lbs to like 200-300meters

And its semi rimmed, and light bullets so the barrel might have enough twist

25 acp, I wouldnt trust it with a lot of pressure and the only other 25 calibers I can think of are like .257 Robert's and the like, and I dont think a full power rifle round would play nice with a airgun action.

Idk how bad it is, but without better pics I'd say cut it off where its torn, and if its nylon melt the ends, get a triglide and make a loop, ring some 550 cord through it and loop it on the skin swivel/ anywhere you can thread it through. If its broke worse then that upload soem pics and I'll try to help. If it is some plastic that broke you might be able to get replacements, but you could probably rig something up with 100mph tape and 550cord

Likely losing most of the penetration, so aim for the boiler room or the head, 55gr will still rip shit apart though. The golden ticket for lethality on unarmored targets is the barnes tsx, and apparently the hornady 75gr tap t2, the tap has worse effectivness through barriers though. 77smk has been stacking bodies like a mother fucker overseas. Look up ballistic testing of whatever you bought, and then look at other 5.56 and compare them, varmint isn't ideal but you can blast a hole through concrete with a .22 if you hammer the same spot enough

sling is important, 550 cord it to yourself. Don't let peaceful protesters strip you of your protection

3
Totallynotaflaseflag 3 points ago +3 / -0

A sling is never truly broken if you have 550 cord and duct tape. They even sell some slings prebroken and you just 550 cord them to whatever you want

Primary arms or burris prism optics, only a 3x or 5x though. That's probably your only options, besides PA 2 or 2.5x, to get down to the price you're looking at go used, reddit has GAFS, and while reddit is full of fags its fags who don't go shoot and irresponsibly buy nice things and sell them reasonably cheap and nearly unused

Learn to reload a pump, and shoot better. But yeah the detachable mag shotguns either don't hold as much as you think or have a really bulky mag, and depending on the aggression of the gators either one shot will scare them off or you need a rifle that is easy to control, lethal at close ranges, and has the ability to reload easily and quickly (i.e. an AR) if you're set on a shotgun I'd recommend tube fed and if you need an autoloader then the stoegers are pretty good, and relatively cheap.
