when merely pistol-whipping your indigenous serfs isn't enough

Hop is pretty based, good content. Esstac is the best for pouches in my experience, for everything but AK mags. I prefer their plastic clips over the WTF straps. Any 1.75"-2" inner/outer velcro belt utilizing a cobra buckle is the way to go. AWS gear is probably the best value for such. Add a pad later if you need one, most don't.

An ALS Safariland holster is the gold standard, don't get anything less. Add a Nub Mod for even more speed. With 10min of practice draws, an ALS holster on a 1.5" drop will be just as fast as a sketchy competition rig, and will actually retain your gun if you ever leave the basement or a square range, unlike any kydex OWB holster made.

Watch for Pmag and ammo deals to stock up. Larue trigger + decent red dot or LPVO makes any rifle badass, furniture matters less than those imo.

Best cheap upgrade after those would be a magpul drop-in handguard that covers the sides of the gas block- that bitch gets hot and the extra real-estate allows for a further-forward, pointer-finger towards target grip.

Add a spare set of gas rings, extractor, extractor spring upgrade from BCM or Springco to your next order from wherever. Acquire a chamber brush, solvents/oil as well.

See above- gators vs. redcoats is still effective

While true, my grand-pappy (WW2 MP) had several stories of rumbling with city cops who got too baton-happy. They used to tap on cars with batons to get your attention, attempted intimidation, ect.

Back then you could have literal fistfights with cops if they stepped over the line, lol

Spare small parts for the AR's, and optics. If they keep coming a PVS-14 would be sweet. I feel like a dirty commie with every check that comes in but I might as well spend it on American-made gat accessories and web gear

Actually take care of your own health. Take time to enjoy the simple things in life. Watch red dawn and cook a meal. Get the fuck off the internet. Life is good and being too wrapped up in shit makes you angry rather than cool and flexible.

This is good. COVID has made some people basically live in the internet

Those argentian 1911's are made on colt tooling and are high quality. They used to be crazy cheap too, for basically WW1 colts in great condition

I think mortaring an AR charging handle is just as effective as kicking an AK bolt open, plus it can be done while crouched behind cover. AR also doesn't need to use the charging handle much at all which is a plus, but it does impede the use of stocks with cheek risers. (why use those, tho)

I have a Winchester Model 12 riot gun, former police gun I think. Finish/stock was rough but seems to have been shot very little- after converting and carding the blueing is like 95%.

If I mount a sidesaddle (such as the Esstac shotgun card) with adhesive velcro or something else, will I screw up the original blueing? I'm used to parkerized or andonized crap

The occupying Romans killed Jesus, then proceeded to kill most of the rest of the Israelites 60 years later after a failed rebellion.

Soft armor vest suck ass to wear all day especially if it's hot out. If I felt the need to don armor, I either would change my plans/destination for the day or shit is really going down and the full kit/PC comes out.\

I think that most people are lacking in their web gear/PC setup. Find a place to run a full mile in full kit, fix what chafes. Or find a tactical games-style match to attend for a decent shakedown of your gear

I suppose the Sheriff advice is more applicable if you're friends with a few deputies and/or the sheriff himself- small communities are great. 8ft is much better than the 3ft brush piles I've seen people shoot into...

Rifle, mags, web gear, CAT tourniquet/IFAK first. Then get a CCW setup, drawing a pistol from a belt is much more practical/faster/looks 10x better for any SD scenario in public. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable keeping up with a gun off my body in the city, i.e. purse or pack. Then add an OWB belt kit.

Check local/county ordinances. Make sure there's nothing behind it for a long ways. Build it twice as high as you think it should be- nothing gets people pissed off more than wounded cattle or having rounds zip past their head while on a tractor. If you can, build an L shape so you can do more dynamic shooting/moving drills. Getting approval from the Sheriff is possible just in case pissy neighbors complain. Preferably you're already friends with your neighbors, which precludes any possible steppage...

I've heard good things, but I'm not sure how much better one would be than your average pawnshop single-shot besides looking prettier.

SxS coach gun is much sexier, imo

I can't imagine any major investment in new firearms plants during this administration, anyway.

Dan Wesson makes the best production 1911's imo, thanks to CZ. Maybe now the Colts won't require a custom reliability job to run

Mismanaged by the shareholders, Colt Canada was the only place left with an engineering team innovating. They stopped sales to civilians and continued Colt's historic record of financial mismanagement.
