Why would a Crimson Trace red dot bottom out above suppressor-height sights? Swear I used the right mounting plate and screws. It won't go any lower.

Own a few and have never had a problem, even with the ones I don't clean. One came with a bent hand guard and they fixed it before I transferred it, easy peasy.
